Véronique Sabourin has been a patient partner with the V1SAGES team since April 2016. Living with several chronic illnesses since childhood, she has extensive experience with care trajectories. Committed to sharing her life experience with other patients, her role on the team is to contribute to new project ideas, the development of research protocols and data collection tools, the collection and interpretation of data, and the dissemination of results. She is also involved in various committees of the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean regional health authority, in addition to acting as a standardized patient and patient trainer for clinical training in the Department of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine at the Université de Sherbrooke. Véronique also sits on the steering committee of Réseau-1 Québec, on the national committee of the Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations Network is involved in other national bodies such as Accreditation Canada.
