
Mathieu Bisson has developed expertise in qualitative research over the course of his academic and professional activities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the Université Laval (2005) and a master’s degree in regional studies and interventions from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (2012). Between 2013 and 2017, he coordinated various research projects in the areas of homelessness, men’s health, urban dwelling Indigenous peoples, and health services in primary care. He joined the V1SAGES research team in June 2017 as a research assistant in the Department of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine at the Université de Sherbrooke. He works closely with V1SAGES team members and partners in conducting and coordinating research activities to improve health system efficiency and care for people with complex needs who frequently use health services.
